Had another productive sunday with family. Food will always be the second exciting part about family time. the first is family time itself of course, :) Went to church at CCF St. Francis then Ate at Mr choi.. Had our Dessert at Hagen dasz then after lunch, went to the funeral of my friend's mom.. who's also a friend of mommy. On the way, we stopped over at lucky 21 and Nathaniels. :)
As soon as we devoured our lunch, we had dessert Fondue ala Hagen Dazs. I can say its one of the best fondue ive ever tasted :)Masarap pag yung ice cream samahan ng saging tapos i dip sa melted belgian chocolate. :)
After Lunch and dessert, ate rox, momsy, kim and i went to Quezon city to go to the funeral. Since we're already there, we stopped by "lucky 21". A Food store well known for their empanaditas. dinadayo talaga sya ng tao para lang sa mini empanada nya. Its really good and its home made. You wont even notice that theres a store there because the place looks like a house.. because it really is a house. they make the empanadtias right at the comfort of their home :)
another stop over was at Nathaniels. One of Pampanga's pride. Its well known for its delectable mouth watering frozen buko pandan made of carabao's milk :) aside from buko pandan, they also have other delicacies that you can buy. sabi ni ivan masarap din daw simoai nila. i have yet to try it.
Pagkatapos ng mga stop over, we went straight to the funeral already. met up with friends. Minsan sa funeral di mo alam sasabihin mo sa namatayan and a simple condolence wont change the situation. But i guess your presence alone means a lot. its funny how my friend can still smile despite what happened to her mom, she's very at peace knowing that she is in a better place. she died in l.a and they had to fly the body here in the philippines for the other kids who do not have visas. I feel for them.. Losing a loved one is hard.
