Nathaniel's Buko pandan

I always think about food during my spare time. Its the harsh effect of my red pill. Right now, im thinking about nathaniel's buko pandan that i just ate a few hours ago. Its really the best Buko Pandan iv ever tatsed in my whole life. Nathaniels buko pandan was originated in Pampanga at wala pa tumatalo sa kanya so far.. it is made with Strips of buco and pandan jelly with the creaminess of carabao milk, frozen. You'll forget your name! im not even exagerrating! my sister bought 2 gallons and im almost done with the last gallon.

Saturday, Yakimix day.

Saturday was yakimix day. Had to tell my sister to make a reservation right away kase sobra haba nanaman ng pila panigurado. she was there at 5pm and people were already lined up outside waiting for their names to be called. Para ka lang nasa LTO habang tinatawag pangalan mo. I really ate a lot more than what i paid for. After dinner, ivan and i walked around to buy his bag, food for sherlock and inquired for his dream Tempur bed. At the end of the night, di pa rin bumaba kinain ko at muka akong 3 bwang buntis. 

My gaining weight journey

this was my wednesday food. Had lunch at contis and ate fish. tuna belly and salmon baked fish. then went to greenhills to eat crazy crepe and a whole lot more that i didn't get to take a picure of.  After 5 years i finally ate my crazy crepe again. i dont know what they changed with the ingredients but i remember it tasted better back then. i think the ice cream is not too creamy and the whipped cream is so heavy it made my head ache. This is officially the start of my fat days. Im really trying to gain weight because im a little under weight for my height so i started drinking my red pill. This red pill is called "lhing Zhi chuang yao wan". its actually bad for the health cause its steroidal but what can i do? Iv been dependent on it since i was a kid and whenever i would stop, id lose weight again. My plan is just to gain a lil heavier then stop when i dont look like a walking stick anymore. Its really works but its still not good for the health. :(

Movie: Love and other drugs

Todays a long day. Started my day early for school then had lunch with my doll at banapple. it was just my 2nd time to try banapple and they never fail to serve good but affordable dishes. i think the most expensive in the menu was a lil over P180. i got hickory bbq and ivan got his favorite garlicy tapa. After luch we watched "Love and other drugs" at rockwell. It was a cute movie, but just like any other love stories, 2 people would end up together and live happily ever after, someone will follow who because he/she will leave then they will talk and settle it all down at that moment and they'll hug each other. I guess thats the cliche of love stories now. It has a lot of sex scenes though. Not advisable to watch with the young ones. Over all it was a cute movie but i sort of expected what will happen in the end.  have to admit i shed a tear at last part but thats just how i am.. hopeless romantic forever.

Happy birthday my lukey

today is the birthday of our lucas adam bonner. my nephew who was named after my dad. its funny how he got some of my dad's traits like his humor and kalokohan. Out of my 9 nephews, he's the only  one who's very sweet to me and automatically runs and hugs me when he sees me. I still remember vividly how my dad would play with him when he was a baby. he would push him on the bed so he'd fall on the floor...i mean on another bed on the floor of course.:) happy birthday lukey..your'e named after your lolo but you're not suppose to be like your lolo. thats when it comes to women of course haha

Dinner date with sisters

had a dinner date with my two older sisters yesterday at Ye Dang korean restaurant beside metro walk at 88 meralco ave. pasig. Usually this resto is jam-packed with both koreans and locals alike but we were clever enough to be there 5 minutes before the opening time which is 5:00pm haha :) the first time i tried their food was with my korean friend boram (who incredibly speaks fluent tagalog and english) way back in 2008. I enjoyed eating at Ye dang because you could get unlimited side dishes for free. We ordered Banchan, Japchae, beef short ribs soup and i dont know what you call the others :) but it was really good if you're up for an authentic korean cuisine.

 

 

books all books

My dream is to have my own library room in my future house and i'd like my children to love books the way i fell in love with it. Personally i'd rather stay home and drink tea with a good book than stay out and party all night. thats just me :) it may seem weird but i get so happy sitting at the corner of my bed just looking at these babies :) the painful part of owning lots of books is moving it all from one place to another.. it took so much of my time sorting out which belongs to where. but i dont care.. i wont stop collecting. I know ill have my library someday.

My favorite Southern girl

time to say farewell to my Lauren Grace! her one week stay was all about the four Fs.. funeral, family, friends and food. it was a sad hello cause the reason why she had to come home was because her grand father died but after the funeral, she was showered with non stop happiness of the 3 other F's including me! :) ill miss you Lauren Grace! you'll forever be my favorite southern girl! :)

Pritchon!!!

this Holiday, who can forget the all time filipino favorite Lechon? Yes lechon is a real tasty food but for me, i like it better if its a prichon!! pritchon is fried lechon or "Pritong Biik" wrapped in pita wedges and served with different kinds of sauce. (but my favorite is oyster! :)) It is a unique way of serving a whole suckling pig or "Lechon de Leche". It is indeed a Philippine delicacy thats very fun to eat. there are service crews that will serve you the hot and crispy taste of heaven!! Im even salivating while typing.. when you first bite it, you could feel the crispiness of the pig skin mixed with the juicy meat and strips of cucumber and leeks along with your chosen sauce like hoisin, honey mustard, white garlic, chili tagalog, sate, honey lemon and liver.. :) ill see you again pritchon, maybe in anpther family party..
