Bellvue Manila
Spent our holy week at Bellvue manila. we stayed there for 4 days.. didnt do anything really..Since it was holy week, everything was closed even the restaurants beside the hotel. we only had the chance to eat out on black saturday. malls were closed as well so we had no choice but to stay in the hotel and watch dvds and simply relax.. that was our main purpose in the first place..
Lunch at Bubble tea greenhills
It was our first time to eat at bubble tea. i didnt know they also serve food. i thought they only serve drinks like shakes and cold tea. We decided to eat there because Ivan heard a lot of good feed backs about it. I was not too sure at first because its not really their specialty. but again, i was wrong.. the food was indeed delectable. i ordered rice topped with melted cheese and grilled chicken. Ivan ordered something else, im not sure what its called but its soooo good.. its strips of beef with sweet and salty flavor. sooo good. tofu steak and of course bubble tea.. we just ordered the original one :) will go back again for sure.. 2 thumbs up!

Exotic food: Snail
I dont really consider snail as an exotic food because i always eat it when i was small and even up to now. i thought all along that snail is a typical filipino food. guess i was wrong. When i showed the pictures of my yummy snail food to my ivan, he was so disgusted. I guess its a typical delicacy only in some parts of the philippines. But trust me, snail is so flavorful, its chewy with a bit of earthy flavor and its good when cooked with coconut milk :)
live fresh snails..
(bottom) you have to chop the tail of the shell so when its cooked already, you can eat it just by sucking it out of the shell. boil the snail to remove the greenish color around the shell. then you saute' the chopped onion, garlic, ginger then mix it with coconut milk, water, moringa (or malunggay) and lastly the snail. let it cook for a few minutes..
Almost done...
Finished..

Noah ion cell clense?
Sunday was family day and spent it with my sister's family. We went to the house of her brother in law and curiously tried this thing called "noah ion cell cleanse". Its use is for detoxifying. I was so skeptic about it because all you have to do is soak your feet in water with this blue machine, remove all metal objects in your body and wear this blue thing on your wrist and after 30minutes, the water in the container where you soaked your feet would turn into a yucky color. They say its some of your dirt in the body,. I was not too sure about it but doctors actually recommend this to their patients.
(bottom) watching how the clear water becomes yucky. Skepticism is needed at times:)
(bottom) benefits and the meaning of colors in the water. Mine had green bubbles on it,. Im not too sure it it was just a coincidence because green means kidney or UTI problem. 3 years back i was confined for 3 days due to pyelonephritis or a more serious kind of UTI. I still feel back pain (where kindeys are located) once in a while.
(bottom) me bored and waiting.. (right) the machine used.
(left side), what the water looks like after 5 minutes. My brother in law did not soak his feet for a while just to see if the color of the water will still change. And if it did, then this is a hoax but it didnt. the color of the water only began to change right when he soaked his feet. (right) after 22 minutes in the water. the funny thing is my water is a little lighter than my sister who's already 40 years old. does it mean she has more waste in her body because she's older?
Ciocollo/Grand Palazzo Royale Pampanga
There are lots of hidden nice places in the philippines. Pinoys just dont discover it yet. I on the other hand just recently discovered a beautiful place called Grand palazzo Royale,. or some people know it as ciocollo. Ciocollo is a coffee shop in the middle of a beautiful italian/victorian style setting and its a place usually used for different occasions such as debut, birthday, wedding, baptism etc.. its perfect because inside, theres also a church and different rooms for special occasions, depending on what kind of royal treatment you'd like to experience. its actually my kind of style and id love to spend my special day there. Too bad i didn't have the chance to take pictures of their different ballrooms, i wonder if it can be compared to Las Vegas' Venetian hotel. =)
Brazo de mercedes Cheescake. One of the best in Ciocollo. the best for me so far, I really enjoyed this mouth watering dessert. :) how i wish they sell it in manila.
(bottom) Ferrero Cake. it was also super good but my brazo over powered this cake.
outside one of the ballrooms.
Outside my dream church. (bottom)
cousins. while waiting for our dessert
